Wischuer is a small, wonderfully peaceful village between open fields, the Salzhaff lagoon and the Baltic Sea. Kleine Auszeit is on a quiet village lane with very little traffic – here, stillness is not merely a promise but part of every holiday day. The property directly borders a small natural woodland, whose greenery, soft rustling leaves and fresh air create a beautiful setting for switching off.
Your holiday begins right outside the door: with cycling through the countryside, a day by the sea or an outing to Rerik and Kühlungsborn. Our day-trip ideas around Wischuer lead you to beaches, seaside resorts and favourite local places. Afterwards, return to Kleine Auszeit – an apartment that combines warmth, comfort and the reassuring feeling of home.

Whether it is a long bright summer evening or a quiet winter day, the lovingly kept grounds – framed by a green hedge and the neighbouring woodland – remain a private place to breathe deeply.

During harvest season, and while supplies last, we are delighted to share fresh fruit and vegetables from our own lovingly tended garden. As a special holiday treat, freshly smoked fish can also be pre-ordered: traditionally smoked over beechwood, for enjoying during your stay or taking home on departure day.

When can we check in and out?
Check-in is from 4 pm. An earlier arrival may be possible by prior arrangement, but never before 2 pm. Please check out by 10 am; an extension to 11 am is only possible by prior arrangement.
Can we bring a pet?
Kleine Auszeit does not normally accommodate pets. We may make an exception by prior arrangement. Please tell us the number and type of pets in your enquiry. We will confirm whether we can accommodate them and any applicable fee before you book. Selecting “Yes” in the form does not constitute approval.
What about parking, charging and bicycles?
Free parking and bicycle parking are available on the property. Our 11 kW wallbox currently costs €0.49 per kWh, charged according to actual consumption. EV charging is not included in the accommodation price. Please contact us with any questions about bicycle storage.
Are bed linen and towels included?
Yes. Your beds will be freshly made when you arrive. Bed linen and all the towels you need are included, as is Wi-Fi.
How do booking and payment work?
Send us a non-binding enquiry. After checking your request, Nicole Diederich and Frank Kiaupat will send you an individual, non-binding offer with the full price and booking conditions. To book, expressly confirm by email that you wish to book on those terms. The contract is formed when you receive our subsequent booking confirmation. No deposit is due beforehand. After written booking confirmation, a 20% deposit is due by bank transfer within seven days. For bookings made less than seven days before arrival, the deposit is due immediately. The balance is payable at check-in. Bank details are provided in your confirmation. You can pay the balance at check-in in cash or by contactless payment. Alternatively, payment by bank transfer is possible; please arrange this with us before your arrival.
What is the minimum stay?
The minimum stay is three nights. A one-off €99 final cleaning fee applies to stays shorter than seven nights. Final cleaning is included for stays of seven nights or more.
Are there any local visitor fees?
We do not collect a visitor tax at our accommodation in Wischuer. Separate local visitor or beach fees may apply when visiting nearby seaside resorts. Please check the rules of the resort you visit.
