Rerik

Rerik feels like a seaside day with no need to hurry: the open Baltic Sea on one side, the calm Salzhaff lagoon on the other. Stroll beside the fishing harbour, enjoy the view from Haffplatz and discover the beach and coastal scenery. It is especially lovely when the evening light settles over the water.

Bad Doberan

Bad Doberan is made for a day of history and atmosphere. Doberan Minster is one of northern Germany’s great brick-Gothic treasures; afterwards, the former monastery grounds invite you to linger among old walls and trees. Board the Molli, open the window and listen for its bell: the journey to Heiligendamm becomes an experience in itself.

Wismar

Wismar is a Hanseatic town made for wandering and lingering. Between the broad market square, the Wasserkunst fountain, impressive brick churches and the old harbour, medieval history can be enjoyed at an unhurried pace. Take your time and you will find peaceful lanes, inviting cafés and glimpses of water everywhere – a lovely day out for anyone who enjoys the finer details.
